Has anyone changed their CV Boots before?

What did you use, hoist or will ramps be ok?

A mechanic said mine are cracked and will soon dry up , etc etc

Thanks guys!

It's easier and makes more sense to replace the whole driveshaft.

Tools needed:
32mm nut
pry bar
socket set

Take off the wheel, then remove the 32mm nut. Remove other nuts holding hub. Rotate the hub out of the way, use your pry bar and pry the drive shaft out. Replace with new one. Put hub, back together. Torque, back on the 32mm nut, to 35lbs I think.

Get alignment. Should take about 1 hour.
