You pull these codes the same way you pull check-engine codes, but it's the ABS light that's blinking. Here's the sequence...

Insert the jumper, then turn on the key.
Long (2sec.) flash - long (2sec.) pause - this isn't the code yet.
Short flashes for the first digit of the code - 1sec. pause - short flashes for the 2nd digit.
Long (5-second) pause, then the next code.

(94-97) ABS DTCs...
1 - ABS pump motor over-run
1 2 ABS pump motor
1 3 high pressure leakage
1 4 pressure switch
1 8 high pressure system
2 1 parking brake
3 1 pulser RF
3 2 pulser LF
3 4 pulser RR
3 8 pulser LR
3 12 different diameter tires
4 1 wheel sensor RF
4 2 wheel sensor LF
4 4 wheel sensor RR
4 8 wheel sensor LR
5 - rear wheel lock - R/L
5 4 rear wheel lock - R
5 8 rear wheel lock - L
6 - fail-safe relay - F/R
6 1 fail-safe relay - F
6 4 fail-safe relay - R
7 1 solenoid - RF
7 2 solenoid - LF
7 4 solenoid - R
8 1 ABS function
8 2 CPU comparison
8 4 IC self-check

Thought I might post this since I have been having some trouble lately finding information out about this.
ABS light has been coming on intermittently along with the TCS light on my 1998 RL. I went out and purchased the Acura SCS Service Connector (part number 07PAZ-0010100) to diagnose the codes.
So, the process for getting the codes out of the little flashing abs light is as follows:
1) Connect the SCS service connector to the service check connector under the glove box (it is attached to the very back of the white plastic filler under the glove box. It's blue and stored in a blue plastic housing)
2) Turn the ignition switch ON (II), but do not start the engine.
3) Record the blinking frequency of the ABS indicator light. The blinking frequency indicates the diagnostic trouble code (DTC)
Note: Check the DTC carefully and record it. The memory of the DTC is erased if the connector is disconnected from the ABS control unit.
The pattern for the light is the long flashes are the first number and the short flashes are the second number ie 3 long flashes and 4 short flashes indicate error code 34. The code will repeat three times and then move on to the next code.
When diagnosing ABS/TCS troubles, fix ABS troubles first before moving on to TCS since TCS is closely related to the ABS system. You may solve both by fixing only one.

So, Trouble codes:
1996-1997 3.5RL
1: Pump motor over-run
1-2: Pump Motor
1-3: High-pressure leakage
1-4: Pressure Switch
1-8: High Pressure system
2-1: Parking Brake
3-1: Pulser RF
3-2: Pulser LF
3-4: Pulser RR
3-8: Pulser LR
3-12: Different diameter tire
4-1: Wheel Sensor RF
4-2: Wheel Sensor LF
4-4: Wheel Sensor RR
4-8: Wheel Sensor LR
5: Rearl wheel lock Right/Left
5-4: Rear wheel lock Right
5-8: Rear wheel lock Left
6: Fail-safe relay Front/Rear
6-1: Fail-safe relay Front
6-4: Fail-safe relay Rear
7-1: Solenoid RF
7-2: Solenoid LF
7-4: Solenoid Rear
8-1: ABS function
8-2: CPU Comparison
8-4 IC (Integrated Circuit)

1998 3.5RL

5-4: Fail-safe relay
6-1: Ignition Voltage
6-2: Ignition Voltage
7-1: Different diameter tire
8-1: Central Processing Unit (CPU) diagnosis and ROM/RAM diagnosis

Hope this is educational. By the way, the SPS tool from acura was only about 6 bucks but all it looks like is a jumper wire.
