Shift Boot Replacement

Shift Boot Replacement
Hello All,
I was cleaning out my car the other day and noticed that the shift boot is looking worn and is also collecting dust within the seams.
I wanted to replace my shift boot with one of the JDM ITR Replica shift boots, but I wasn't sure as to what the procedure would consist of.
Can anyone explain in detail and/or post a link with images providing the information?
My primary concern is how to remove the shift boot, as well as reinstalling the console without having any "fitment" issues once complete.
Thanks for all your help.

Oh lol.
2 under the dash by your feet
2 on the back sides of the armrest
2 under the rectangle cover under the e-brake handle.
unplug the cig-lighter and ashtray light.
unscrew shift ****
