Default Suitable PSI for a stock motor

Hey folks,

I have a question that I can't put my best finger on. If anyone can

brief on it that'll be perfect. I have a SIR (b16 a) that I wish to turbo

charge. The question comes as I like to know on how many pounds of

boost can this motor take with out a Rebuild. The only work being applied is

a headgasket as well head studs. What is the highest amount of boost I

can acquire for this motor?

Secondly would it be wise to make another purchase, but of a JDM GSR.

It's the torque I'm concerned about. The SIR is quite torque less and

boost occours a liitle after low rpm's. Then again it's extra coin to dish out
for the GSR BUT am I more happier with the GSR BEING STOCK ON BOOST.

Thanks again for viewing this thread as well responding.
