Default went back to the dyno...

so i thought that i would post something that i needed to do for a long while now. today i took my car back to the dyno. i was hoping to tune on 15psi but looks like my turbo needs a re-build, so we kept it at 8psi; however now i can rev to 7000rpm! haha here's some pics, i gotta thank nick and eric at teknotic for all the help with the car, nick did an amazing job on tuning, and i have to thank all the people who have helped me with the car like xplicitef, wildoutwhitegsr, ITRboi, and a bunch of other people on this board so -THANKYOU.

and the result:

253hp and 206tq on 8psi - im more than happy with those results. i know people have put down alot more hp but the car is flippin fast as hell to me! and that's my night.

looking good....you could probably rev it up to around 7300-7400rpm....looks like the power is still flat on the top...good numbers for 8psi. i think my setup made 280whp on 7psi a while back.

Tony's dyno reads 10% lower than local dynojets

we tried that actually, we decided to take it up to 7500rpm, so we set it for 7250rpm and it peaked and fell flat on it's ***. lol i think it's the stock LS cams.

^over winter i'm thinking of doing either one of two things:

A) get a sleeved block/GT series turbo, stay LS

or

B) rebuild turbo and add a vtec head.

and then re-tune next spring with 15psi at the least. haven't made up my mind yet tho.

thanks mang, i haven't taken it to the track yet, it just got tuned two days ago. 1st gear just spins, 2nd gear fights for traction, pretty much peels in second above 5500rpm, 3rd,4th and 5th i can put down.

oh lawd how i want an LSD. torque steer for the ------- loose! and i plan to make use of all this power by parking in a parking lot and taking pics :P

^jk, actually, i have to mount my slicks on my ITR rims, and then figure out a day to head up to the strip because CSCS will probably be wayyyy too busy.
