UGHHH this is bs... thought I was done figured i'd have some simple adjustments get rid of the engine light, had an o2 sensor (#2)...and had missfire cyl 1,2,3.... now I have missfire cyl 1,3,random. When I took the car in I had random missfire, and possibly more that I didn't know about... New Plugs (gapped to spec), New wires, tried moving plugs around, tried movie injectors around... i've hear possibly rotor/cap... gonna check compression next time i'm up... any other ideas from ppl who have had this issue, what fixed your problem?

Check maybe your timing, it could be off.

its not timing, we've checked over and over, and i've had like 3 of my buddies (2 of them being mechanics and the other whos done it a few times on some cars) all checked again and again and saw everything lined up really close...

it went from cyl 1,2,3... and then I adjusted the valves to 1,3,random (with o2 both times)... from what I read for something like that its a good chance of plugged injectors... (causes it to run lean and trips the o2)... But gonna have it compression tested by my friend, and rule that out (HOPEFULLY)...

Where did you go to get the powder coating?? and what's the colour code you used? I found that place on Millen rd called MES powdercoating and if I supply the paint it's $30/rim lol

thats actually where I went, is MES powdercoating. I donno the paint code, I told him I wanted it gunmetal, he said he had 2 shades so I just told him to choose one for me. He does powdercoating for my work, so thats how I knew about him, have known him for 6 years.

That's awesome.. I was chatting with the one guy in there last week and he said if I get the paint from Tiger drylac that he could do it for $30/rim.. So I might get my front/rear LCAs, valve cover, and trailing arms all powder coated the same colour..

List of colours:

http://www.aluminumrailing.net/image...r%20drylac.pdf

I was thinking of "Sahara Gold" or "Sungold Metallic" for the rims and things and a Royal blue for the car colour.. Kind of like the subaru blue/gold :P

Just outta curiosity, where did you get your stuff sandblasted? The guy at MES recommended a place on Kenora but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me I was lucky to remember the tiger drylac name for the paint

I had him take it to the place to get sandblasted so no idea. There used to be a place right across the street from my work that you'd throw them some money or whatever and they'd do it for ya...but they moved...so I donno where he takes it now...guess the place he told you lol.

i had a set of control arms sandblasted at ace's sandblasting in grimsby or smithville....it was out in the sticks somewhere.

for small stuff i just use my brothers blasting cabinet

Pat, i haven't decided on a colour yet. i had plans to do the theme of my fav F1 Driver and team but my driver switched teams and the team got bought out.

i was gonna do all white with a stripe like this going through it
like this:

and have my drivers logo on it like this flag has

^lol wut?

it's not a balloon, you'll blow a seal before your block pops.

shitty deal Pat, sorry to hear. put it this way, now's a good time to build up an LS or B20 Bottom end. save what you can from the block like the oil pump, main girdle, pan and pick up. timing belt and water pump too if it's new.
