Re: My B20 Build Thread!
I have to first pull the motor out of the 2000 and shave the bay, the b20 wont go in until summer because im going with the b16 head, but yeah ill def let u know, we are going to use Bradnyan's hoist, and at least pull the motor out by hopefully next sunday, so if you like you can come by then!

Re: My B20 Build Thread!
i think this weekend we will pull b20, suspension and any other upgrades in the red shell and throw it away, so I can pull the motor apart and start cleaning it up, and roll the 2000 VSM in the garage. There will still be one motor pull, and one drop in later on; so dont worry you will get your chance!!
Thanks Man!

Re: My B20 Build Thread!
I am ordering my new tires today. Went through a couple different sites to check out reviews & quality VS. price VS. performance, and I think I picked up a good set! Will be here tomorrow, and I will take pics and post. You can guess in the mean time!

Re: My B20 Build Thread!
its pretty clean, but still needs a couple rounds of polishing, I have all winter so it will be something I will take my time with. Got some other parts on the way here, being shipped, so should have those in a couple weeks..
So should I use a buffer machine like those MOTHER ones that go on a drill??

Re: My B20 Build Thread!
Good progress so far! Valve cover looks nice. This may sound rice but maybe a chrome dip will give you a better mirror shine than a polish. I think it would last longer too.

Re: My B20 Build Thread!
^^^ I have seen a couple of ones that got chrome dipped, and they look fine, because yo have the radiator in there, headers, TB polished, so it all looks flush, the chrome will look good, just dont know if I want to spend the extra money...I got a grocery list of parts that need to be bought before April, and then I will set up an Install/BBQ day lol..

Re: My B20 Build Thread!
Star specs are pretty much one of the best tires if not the best street tire. The next step above them would be R compounds. How much was this legit price for them?

Re: My B20 Build Thread!
Legit price was $480 all in, they retail for about $179 per piece...they are big 15s too, 205s..

Re: My B20 Build Thread!
So we pulled the motor out, today I will take out the suspension, strip out what is left of interior, and throw this one away!
Also, I may be selling the b20/b16 Tranny, I came across a GSR so may use that motor, no conversion to do, and good for boost.
What do you guys think??
