OK so what you see in how I bought my 1995 RS Integra, I have more pics, but no USB to upload so will do them when I get a hold of one!

It came with the following Mods/Upgrades:

B20 MOTOR
B16 TRANNY
FRONT, REAR, C PILLAR SWAY BARS
NEW OEM EXHAUST
TOKICO BLUES
TEIN SPRINGS
(SITS PRETTY LOW)
SPOON REPLICA MIRRORS
JDM TYPE R STEERING WHEEL
CROSS DRILLED ROTORS
15" PIAA Black Gloss 5 Spoke Wheels

I have been inquiring alot on this forum as what I should do, what I shouldn't do, and what to do if I want "XXX" amount of power. This is my 3rd Integra, but never went all the way with one, just the normal stuff. My previous was a 1996 GSR, and a 1994 DC4 H22. All the work was done at shops, like all my other cars. This work that has gone into this Integra has been solely done in my garage.

Here is a list of what has been done so far:

GSR LEATHERS (Front & Rear)
Full 98+ Connversion (Front & Rear)
Tune Up (Oil Change, TB & Water Pump, NGK Platinum Spark Plugs, Taylor Wires)
AC Unit Removed
Oil Change
Transmission Flush
Re Manufactured Brake Calipers (Sprayed Red)
Fuzion HR1 Tires 205/60R/15
New Brakes
Godspeed Gold Lugs
Front & Rear Lower Stabilizer Bars
Megan LCA's
Rear Trunk Sprayed down all black
Leather Door Panels w/Red Fabricated Insets

I have pictures of most of this and will upload when I get a chance.

Future Mods:

Bodywork over Winter (maybe sooner)
Remove Power Steering
ABS
Battery & Fuse Box Relocation
Mild Wire Tuck
SS Fuel Lines/Brake Lines
SS Clutch Cable
Powercoat Bottom End/Valve Cover
Full Bolt Ons (Intake is on the way!)
Possible VTEC Conversion

If anyone has any suggestions, please share!!

Thanks.

Looks great man. Just a question why remove the power steering. That my friend is so needed makes life so easy. Everything else your planning sounds awesome. Looking forward to some pictures.

A b20 must rip in your car. Best bang for the buck motor honda makes. Great choice.

So I took out the rear carpet, privacy cover, spare tire, jack, wood lol, and i cleaned it out, sprayed it with rust convertor, cleaned it out again, and then sprayed it with asphalt mix! A couple guys from the forum have seen it how it looks now, and thought it looked super clean. I dont have a picture of it right now..

So I replaced the front Mids with Alpine Type R Component Mids w/positioned tweeters, the rear has Lanzar Comp. Series Mids w/positioned tweeters. This will all be running through a JVC deck, and I have 2 10" Bazooka Tubes waiting to be installed right behind Driver & Passenger Front Seats (bolted to the carpet right under Rear Bench with a 500W Bazooka 2 channel Amp. I cant put anything in the trunk now, because there is nothing to support it!

Its going to pound with the tubes being right behind the seats!

**So when I took the Valve Cover off, we took a look at the TB and it looked pretty good, so I called the guy I bought the car off, and he said he just had the belt done the month before**

So its a clean head as you can see, and I saved about $100 by returning the TB & Waterpump!

Build is looking awesome. Lots of good work went into this baby. But change already good work.

As for spraying the valve cover with caliper high temp paint doesn't look all that good I had it before and didn't like it.

Tomorrow I will post some pics of the new parts I bought, nothing that major, but some cool stuff....

So this is a question.

If I do the B20 Vtec set up before I go boost, how much extra power am I getting?! Because all in all, the whole Conversion is going to cost me about $1000. Is it really worth it??!?!

And when I tune it, do I go Vtec at XXXRPM and then spool at a higher RPM?!?

I have no idea..

Tomorrow, Headlights are being polished...

Will post before and afters..

B20 build thread? I haven't seen a single HP mod yet lol. All interior/exterior dress-up. It's looking better though and your question is at least inspiring :P

Did you really just spray bomb your calipers without taping anything off? You painted the shims, rubber, springs and the piston lol...

V-Tec isn't that amazing (but then again neither are any bolt ons), you may get 15 HP/TQ, also it would kick in around 4500-6000.. not sure anymore these days. Unless you get a ECU reflash.

Depending on the turbo you select and the numbers your looking for that's how you build a turbo car.. not just mishmash what you find together and make it work. Set a number you want, buy the appropriate turbo, injectors, etc.. You're supposed to know your goal... not us tell you what you'll make with "this".

If you got a GT25 or GT28, you're looking at spooling around 3000-3500 RPM's to be in peak boost.. you wouldn't notice v-tec that much IMO as you'd already be in boost. Then again, those turbos put down about 250-350 HP depending on which you pick.. and if Honda motors can take it and whats needed is beyond me. I assume most are high compression engines, though the B20 may not be. If it is, you need new pistons, connecting rods, etc..

Expensive idea, but good luck.

My suggestion would be ---- V-Takkk, and just get the turbo. 100+ HP > Honda fan boy status but if you can afford both.. power to you.

^^^ thanks for your insight, yeah everyone has so many different ways of building and producing power, I was thinking about skipping the VTEC too, but not sure..lol the reason why nothing has been done "build" wise is because I am moving end of month and need the car mobile to move into the new garage, once there the motor is coming out, and the work will start..right now im just taking care of a couple things here and there, and will start bodywork over winter...hopefully, this is just the start! as long as i dont lose interest,or really f**k up i want it done for next summer obviously, so got a lot of work ahead of me...

**UPDATE**

Worked out a great price for a B16 Head from 92BlackDA (No names in case he doesnt want ppl to know), but he is hooking me up! Picking it up on Friday, so will post pics when I get it in...No valve cover, but found a nice Mugen Cover that I may pick up. Also, some other parts came in, so will post those..

So I hope this counts as a HP Mod??!?!??!

If not, Im buying 10 stickers..6 WHP a piece!! lol..

The VTEC conversion kit is about $170 and since this head has already been plugged for the oil feed, is there somewhere I can buy the needed parts separately for possible cheaper? or just buy it and try to find a buyer for the extra items??!?!

Let me know, if i can save some money it would be nice!!!
