little day project i did...
i have the rest of the week off from work so it gave me a chance to do some little things i've been meaning to do for a while.
when i got my car, it had the gray interior, which i hated...so a while ago i swapped out the seats for black gsr seats, black gsr door panals, black carpet(ZOMG IT'S OEM TOO!) and pulled the rear seats and put a black trunk mat over the back. but what stuck out like a sore thumb was the gray armrest. i diden't really want to get an ITR one because i have nothing else with red stiching; so i asked my gf who's an interior designer if they had a material like alcantra.
this is the closest i think i can find to it (without spending an arm and a leg) and it only cost $16 per yard - not bad so i picked up a yard of black (they also have a nice looking red similar to the CTR carpet). that with a can of spray glue, the entire project came to only $30! haha.
i also hated how from the pillers and upward, they were all gray too, so i had enough material left that i could wrap the A pillers and the gague pod, the pillers came out perfect but the gague pod was really tricky, i'll re-do it when i go back to pick up more material.
and ofcourse...OMGWTFBBQ OEM MATS!

I'd be up for it as long as the fabric is really high quality..
by the way,, doesnt all those stickers bother u when u drive?
personally i'd be so disturbed if mine had sticks like that :P
