Default I hate rusting rotors!

One thing I hate the most is buying a new pair of rotors and having it rust a few months later. I got these KVR's last summer and i haven't driven my car in the rain, all the rust is just from water deposites after a car wash. Anyways i hate looking at it, so i decided i would paint the rusting rotor hub. Pictures below of this small project.

wr3d, they look alot better, i've tried to tape them up and paint them but that just takes too damn long, i find if you grab some paint (whatever you want to use), spray it into a paper cup or something, then dab one of those sponge brushes into the cup and then paint it on. so much easier and faster.

rotors on the car is the easiest...just wrap the surface with newspaper...if you get paint on there, oh well the pad is there to scrape that ---- off...

Painting your rotors is fine. As long as you're not using the wrong paint.

I spray my rotors right on the car... I use a silver paint that has metal flakes in it... the brakes will clean any over spray off the braking surface.

Paint with metal flakes is different then ones without and oil based... I wouldn't want to get that on my rotors.
