thats just an exhaust leak. i had that all i did was put some of that liquid weld stuff on it and it worked perfectly. the reason the car smells like fumes is cus its pulling those fumes into the cabin. thats a really easy fix.

then just use that like "cold weld" stuff. it works fine and fixes it. i did this on my stock b16a manifold, at the exact same spot.

only one header, and a plasma cutter is fun to use too hahaha

you cannot weld off. come on now.
must be cut if you weld proper and get a lot of penetration.

Do this.. You're gunna be scrapping that mani if you install headers anyways so you can just chop up that mani to get it out of the car..

If you're replacing parts with new things, you can chop the living ***** out of the old part because it's useless :P And don't put on the b18b mani unless you're converting to obd-1 because you'll have to relocate your obd-0 o2 sensor to way downstream of the exhaust and it'll cause misfiring because it won't be hot enough to work when warming up. Your o2 sensor doesn't start working properly until it's stupid hot - 600F/316C
