Default Scrapping sound?

I've recent noticed a scrapping sound when I brake and its getting worse these pass few days. At first, I thought a stone was jammed into the brakes. So my bro advised me to just brake really hard at some point and the stone would dislodge itself. I'm a little worried for my safety. As far as I know, the sound is coming from the driver side rear brake. If anyone could help me that'd be great.

I also have another problem, its with the passenger door. It seems to get stuck a lot and my friend told me its really hard for her to open. She has to kind of lift the door up and then open. Is there anything I can do about this? I took a look yesterday and I think one of the bolts are lose. Thus, the weight of the door isn't being support so thats why she kinda has tio lift the door. Anyways, Thanks in advance for all your help.

when was the last time u did a brake change? could just be due for a pads/rotor change. is there any surface build-up on the rotor your speaking of?

Edit- U still use rear brakes in daily driving, plus u have done hard braking in auto X.

Thats odd... they could just need replacing... have them pulled off and take a look how much material is left on the pads...

I just replaced my pads and rotors, im getting an odd scraping sound from my passenger front. I took them appart today... Everythings smooth, the pads are in good condition as well... So i dont know whats the issue. I lubed up the metal clips hoping it'd help out a bit more, but I think its still there..

^make sure the metal clips that the brake pads rest on are not touching the rotor while driving.

One of the following:

Rotors are warped and need replacing
Brake pads need replacing

Get the integra manual from the premiere section, Get dennis and your dad to check that ----... let them replace/fix necessary items and pick up your friend and go partying. The end.

regarding door, Just tighten bolt... rule of thumb - lefty loosey, righty tighty!

bleh she never said it was from the back

i just got the pads replaced and rotors re machined at the beginning of the season on the front..

why would the REAR breaks squeek? the only time you use the rear breaks would be the hand break... ( i know brake bias is like 80/20 or even 90/10 front to rear but the rears are barely used..)

Well. i just spoke to my brother on the phone. He says that there should be nothing wrong with the back brakes. maybe I should just replace the brake pad. The sound has gotten worse the pass 2 days. Now when I'm driving, without braking it makes a squeaking sound now. Anyways I'll take it apart and have a look today.

ahaaha. Btw. I took auto shop in high school for two years. Unfortunately, there were only 3 girls in a class full of guys. So I learned a thing or two about my brakes. Time to get down and dirty and see what the hell is going on. While i'm at it. maybe I'll wash the sucker too.

And yes. I'm quite jealous my brother gets and A4... booooerns.
