Default overheating issues

Hey guys, I'm having some overheating issues with my. My temp gauge starts rising towards the hot zone when the car is in idle for a couple mins, such as waiting at a light. It starts to cool while the car is in motion. Any ideas?

BTW, there is coolant in the resavoir (just below the max line), oil is topped up, and the fans work.

Really sounds like the fans aren't working, but if you say there are...

Try the cheap things first. Flush the coolant system with new coolant, then change the thermostat etc...

Had a similar problem and turned out I was low on coolant. I would bleed the system first and make sure it is at the right level before going any further.

I'll be doing that in a week, when I have time to spare...
