i like to use that stuff as a engine assembly lube because it sticks to everything pretty good. thats all i use it for now.

i would not use that stuff in my tranny....EVER! thats just asking for trouble.

as for using it in the engine......hmmm.....you will notice higher oil pressure and it wont thin out as fast.......but the oil seems to get dirty faster with that stuff in there....

so.......save your money and just buy a good engine oil and a good oil filter......

I heard a lot of dealers use this as a "quick fix" for the cars they have on their lot. I know people that have used it but noticed to difference. I don't know if it can do damange to your tranny. If it can, I'd like to know what sort of damage it can do.

if you look at that link provided about the lucas oil additive test you will see that it will absolutly kill your tranny pretty qucik. it foams up pretty bad especially when you run the stuff through gears.......and the tranny is all gears.......

Not saying that it wouldn't foam up like that in an "ACTUAL" tranny, but that experiment does not depict how the additive would react in reality.

As an experiment, they should have the correct amount added to a tranny, driven for a while, and immediately drain the tranny fluid to really see if it is foamed up like that.
