Default leak in brake line?

ey guys. I went to back my car out of driveway, ok cool im backing up i hit brake pedal. IT went rite down to floor no brakes. so i hit my e-brake. Get out look to see if i have brake fluid and theres nothing. IM wondering if i didn't put enough brake fluid in. I just filled the master cylinder cup of to maxium but when u fill your brakes up with fluid, does it go thorugh brake lines and you have to wait til it fills up. Then u pour more fluid to to upp the master cylinder to maxium? Or do i have a leak. I think i ddint fill my brakes up enough.?

sounds like you got some crazy air bubbles in your lines, try bleeding them.
