Default Help Failed e-test???????

So i went to get etest done, and the car didn't pass the No ppm part?
And Canadian tire wanted 100 bucks to scan it? Does anyone know what cause my car to be over the no ppm limit?

Thanks ben

NO is excessive heat, your cat is not cooling enough at the tail end. did he have a fan on the front of the car when he did the test? You have to watch the temprature guage on those tests.

cheap suggestion try that garented etest pass u can get it @ canadian tire or any parts store 2x money back if u fail adn it costs 7 or 8 bucks adn a retest is about 15 i think. worth a try save some money if u pass costs u maybe 35 buck worth a shot even if u fail u can get ur money back

if it's high on NOx you can try retarding the ignition timing down and few degrees. it's a "temp" fix just to pass but there is obviously something else wrong.

either the converter is not working like it should or the o2 sensor is on it's way out.

Clean the EGR and make sure your rad fluid is at the right concentration. I noticed too that my NOx was high

you MUST have a cat to pass emmisons its not a question of should you, you have to by law have one or you'll get pinched by the minsitry guys and they are way worse then the cops believe me brother i know ppl who have lost the car on the spot, they have rolling E-Test Vans that can do an etest at the side of the road of they think your not running a cat, big fines

^^ clean oil is a must, also a full tank of gas is a must, clean air filter, new pcv, clean the IACV,your coolant will effect your No the most, don't use high octane fuel that adds heat...posting your complete numbers would help me make a few suggestions instead of guessing what could be wrong they all work together people don't realize it...
