Grrr!!
I had my timing, Valves, and clutch done on my old motor in the summer! stupid ------- ***** didnt put in tranny fluid into my tranny! and put an ECU in thats FUCKED! Any idea's as to how i can tell if my tranny is shot or not? shifts smooth! but in reverse it sounds like a clunk from the tranny. Motor back fires like crazy! think its fuel rail? or ECU? everything else is new.

if there's no tranny fluid, thats probably causing your transmission problem (duh).
secondly, if you know your ecu is ----, and your car is back firering, the obvious solution would be is to swap the ecu (duh x2).
