Emission test question

Emission test question
I bought my bro a DA (automatic) for 200 bucks for him, everythings good on it, but it wont pass emissions. Everything on the list passed except "NO" by a long shot. Anyone know what I can do to fix this issue? I knwo there could probably be a million reasons, but any ideas would help. Everything else passed with flying colours thats why i was a little baffled.
there is some rad fluid leaking as well, i dont know if that may be contributing, i havent really ahd the time to investigate that issue just yet, been busy with school + work.

i cant believe im sayin this but smartass is right. its got nothing to do with CAT. High NO means too high cylinder temperatures. Your running lean, either air surplus or shortage of fuel. Bvan your gonna get smacked for not listening to me.
jdmteg101 nice try, but the OP listed plenty of info. Lazy answers are worse than nothin at all.
p.s Bvan... you just opened a can of worms lolol

Higher than normal NO can also be caused by high cylinder temperatures as you've stated. EGR serves to lower cylinder temps by re-burning some of the exhaust gases.
Running lean is certaintly a possibility as well, but would likely also be represented in the other two gas readings.

cut the exhaust, add another cat in there, put high octane in there and that other additive they sell in crappy tire, do test on HOT motor. cheapest way out of it without starting to mess around with complicated ----. report the results here

^+1 on that.
make sure car goes in HOT HOT....i talked to steve today about this he said go check ur pcv,and hose, if it has egr which your case it does since its auto, that can malfunction as well..
PCV, and hose
EGR
or CAT.

You mean CS? (counter-strike)
I ruled out the cat because the other results were fine. Im putting my money on egr or fuel system/air leak
p.s. bvan id stop bro. unless he attacks you personally then no need to mention what that person said to us.
