while it's apart, you should take it up the stairs now and assemble it in the garage.

Just a thought.

^haha..i'm down, but i'm not doing the valve springs :finger: :laugh1:

got some new parts in today, i think it's safe to say that the "budget build" went out the window..haha..

picked up a tunertoys stainless steel oil line kit, and a real Greddy type-RS blow off valve

my oil feed setup, bought the sammish oil filter adapter and then connected the feed from there, the other two ports on the adapter are going to be used for the oil pressure and oil temp gagues.

feed line:

kit:

Size: 78.5 KB

here's the return line that goes back into the oil pan:

Size: 77.0 KB

this is probably one of the nicest peices i've gotten for this build, the greddy type-RS blow off valve (it's gonna be LOUAD)

also with the help of trenell, we got the bottom end all finished up, siliconed up the oil pump and rear main seal and serviced the oilpump too. it's pretty much ready to go!

where did you get the bolts for the oil pick up and windage tray? i was just talking to Dave about it since i'm sending my bottom end to the machine shop this weekend (hopefully) and i need all the silly little hardware. The gods are really against me on this one, i've had no luck so far.

If you've already got the sammich adapter, spend a few more bucks and get an oil cooler. Cheap insurance.....

^i was thinking about it, does it bring down oil temps alot? i'd imagine that the turbo will heat the oil quite a bit. i think i might get one after it's all up and running and see what my oil temp is like first.

and mark, i bought alllll the bolts brand new straight from honda.

Who gave you the idea to just tap-n-tape-n-screw the oil return fitting?

Weld on the fitting...or at least JB weld it!
