Np babe! hope you like it!! cant wait to see the look in summer when you get the full look you want! Very easy to do...even with a few seized bolts and such:yeah:

MPR 01-17-2011 09:34 AM

Looks great Ryan! Can't wait to see it in person.

I'm a big fan of koni and ground control springs as well. Very good quality parts.

Unless you were talking about 7th gen civics and up (2001+), none of the civics or tegs struts turn with the wheels either. They are all double wish bone front suspension. Not macphearson strut type.

nizmo 01-17-2011 09:48 AM

Thanks guys and gals lol. I forgot to post up my impressions of the ride. oops.

Its rides amazing! I bought this setup from a friend down in the states who is real picky about his cars and parts. The ride isnt bouncy like my teg, its sooooooooo smooth and comfortable but the turn in is great! Feels solid when i want to drive aggressive. I am VERY shocked on how nice it is. I have yellows down back and reds up front because Matt did alot of R+D on this setup and found that most setups are bouncy because of the firm rear shocks. So he bought the yellow which are softer than reds, and that gets me little to no bouncing in the rear.

Cant brag enough about it. Free rides for anyone that wants one LOL!

Neon_Dave 01-17-2011 10:32 AM

I get a free ride when we detail :D

Looks good dude, I with a hoist I imagine it was super easy to do!

Good idea on the red/yellow combination, smooth is always good. Can't wait to see it dude, we gotta get together sometime

MPR 01-17-2011 01:20 PM

The koni yellows are adjustable no? They are on our MR2.

nizmo 01-17-2011 01:23 PM

yes they are. great product. your get what you pay for

***UPDATE***

Got new tint from Audio Heaven. I recommend anyone thinking of getting tint... got there! I stayed classy and went with 35% all around. So tricky tinting a silver car... too dark looks horrible in my opinion.

Lmao.

Wax on wax off. But if we are telling marlo which way we have to say things backwards, since counter clockwise is clockwise for you. Noob!!! Jokes.

nizmo 01-26-2011 11:11 AM

Going to be replacing the old rusted out oil pan with a OEM Nissan one.

Sweet let's do ours together lol.

nizmo 02-24-2011 09:49 AM

well, not much of an update, but i put in that rear strut tower bar, holy crap its beefy! Eliminates alot of the over-weight body roll i had before, no wonder the G20 guys swear by these bars.

Also thinking of getting a "west wing" lip. Take a look at it, looks stellar! When i think west wing.. i think huge bodykits and ugly ----.

heres the lip.

Neon_Dave 02-24-2011 12:24 PM

I like the lip, just make sure it stays on come slammage in the summer time haha. Agreed on the thoughts of Wings West, very NFS Underground as far as I'm concerned.

I'm liking the last one, the hood looks good like that - however I'd put the vinyl all the way down to the grille instead of leaving a rather awkward space.

AcuratePaul 02-24-2011 01:30 PM

That lip looks like sex!!!

I gotta agree with david, I would run the line down to the grille also.

For some reason when I was thinking of you doing the hood and asking you thought it would look a little better then that. But, do it I would love to see it in person.

UNDEAD GEN2 03-18-2011 06:53 PM

Havent really updated this much, so here are some pics of the ride. I smoked the corner lights, dropped her a bit more for the spring time weather, fixed my exhaust, and detailed the interior so far. Much more to come

Well, i finally got new shoes with fresh rubbers! I went for 16" rims because.... well, everyone is running 17" it seems and i couldnt pass up the killer deal i got. They are Enkei RP02's (+38 offset) wrapped in 215/45R16 Falken Azenis. I have had Azenis before on my NX2000 and LOVED them.

Im very happy with the selection and ride with this set up. On ramps are soooo much fun now, she sticks reallllll good. Going to drop it a bit more because i have a little wheel gap that i want to rid myself of lol.

Oh and i put 10mm spacers in the rear so the rear doesnt look tucked it. Comments welcome.

Just kidding looks good with the new rims took you long enough to get them. You know you always got my place to lower that bitch even lower.

nizmo 05-13-2011 04:28 PM

yup, and a big shocker that they arent RPF1's eh? playyyyyyyyyyyyyyed outttttttttttt

AcuratePaul 05-13-2011 10:29 PM

Lmao, there only played out cuz there the best out there!

Datenshi 05-14-2011 01:37 AM

lol RPF-1's are so like 3 years ago. Looks good, thought I saw you drive by the other day.. exact same but was just lowered, looked like yours 3 months ago when I checked lol. Hadn't checked this in a while, so didnt know your roof was matte or rims.. but good job.
