You mean Nepean?

Nah, that's my buddy's place out in the country near Kanata.

Houses in the west end of Ottawa (barrhaven, kanata, nepean) are all starting to look the same, long live the boonies :GrinDev:

LOL Thanks man, Yah that's my car in my sig.

Did you do the H to B tranny adapter or any plans to do it?? I've heard it's a great mod for H22 swaps.

Sick build man, SICK!

Do it yourself? I'd love to see some pics or read about it if you have anything documented.

Nah, I went with a M2B4 tranny, I really wanted the LSD. The axles/half-shaft ended up being the biggest PITA, well mostly the axles. Ended up with some custom beefy grinds from the states. They're holding up very well.

My car was as LS, so yeah I would have avoided getting aftermarket mounts, linkage etc with the H2B kit BUT, I would have had LS gearing and I much prefer what I have now.

It's almost identical to the G3 GSR gearing with the exception of the final drive which suits me fine, at 120Kms/hr, I'm at 3500 rpms.

Was it a lot of fab to drop that K in there ?

Thank bro. As for the install one of by best buds owns Defcon-Racing so he did the install. I had a full write up on K20A.org but I think the pictures are gone now since the swap was done about 1 1/2 years ago.

True I never thought about it that way. I just figured if you were able to mount a Type R tranny you would have some crazy gearing but if it's similar right now to a GS-R then that is really good already.

Not much fabbing at all to be honest. Much like an H22 swap you have to remove the passenger side mount. There is cutting of shifter area floor to make room for the karcepts adapter for the shifter box. Besides that it's wiring but alot of it is plug and play with the Hybrid Harness. I'm making is sound much easier than it is but Dave made it look really easy lol. He custom made the intake for me and had to relocate the radiator mounting tabs at the bottom to make room for the aluminum rad as well.

It started up on the first shot(after priming for oil and fuel) and ran perfectly, tuned it and been great ever since.

I hear ya, the wiring was the worst part and like you I had an OBD conversion harness, since we re-used most of the B18 harness and my engine is a 95.

What kind of mounts did you use?

Did you manage to keep AC and PS ? (sorry, I didn't inspect your sig in detail)

I know what you mean though, my mech and me spent a weekend dropping the H and it started like a charm the first time. We got rid of a few CELS and off I went for a complete breathing job.

Driving to the exhaust fabricator with only a downpipe was ..... interesting to say the least LOL I got there with my head hanging out the window and the guy said I looked like a raccoon.

I used the P13 that came with the H but I'll soon be needing a tune and using an OBD1 P72 with Hondata S200+B for what we're planning on this summer. (knock on wood I have enough money this year to finally complete the job)

OoooOOoOoOOoOHHHH nice do i see a supercharger?? That'll be champ. Looks like it's a very nice project. Post some pics and video's once it's done if you get a chance

I have a few new things going in this year that should net me mid to high 11's in the 1/4 mile but I'm an N/A guy so no boost for me. Hopefully I can drive it too those times though lol

I went with the Hybrid-Racing mounts I got the race mounts too, the car vibrates like crazy lol even people that have Hasport mounts with their K-Swap say my car vibraes like crazy haha.

I didn't bother with A/C and PS as the car is not my daily driver. I don't even have a washer fluid resevoir lol. I think the only luxury i decided to keep was heat. I got rid of my rear defrost since I got a carbon fibre hood and carbon fibre rear hatch with the FAL preformed lexan rear window.

Like i said though I'd really like to see how your car moves once the charger is on so if you get a chance to post some vids that would be cool.
