Default My new ride....*non-teg related*

Well, had to sell the Integra With the cash, I got the ------- government off my *** and was able to afford 2 newish cars. One for me and one for the wife. I ended up picking up a CLEAN EF hatch, and we also bought a 1992 Nissan NX2000 for my girl to drive. Although I got the shorter end of the stick, I'm happy with my desicion and my girl couldnt be happier with her new ride. I had to get something for the time being as a "beater" and found this good example of a clean EF.

Whats under the hood of the EF you ask? Well anyone coming to this weeks meet will find out

here she is....

Ahah thanks bro. I try

Civics are even simpler 20 years back in history, it's awesome to work on. Ryan described it as nostalgic, and I agree. Great little car.

Thanks bud, you can get EF's really cheap man. $2000 and under for a nice one. Very fun car, it acts just like a go-kart.

Ryan, I have an EF as well now. Clean as mine? I have a 1991 with 145K.

I saw this car on Kijiji....looks clean.

I have a spare OEM axle-back for $20 if you want to go back to stock.

Like last time for the Teg, This time I have the oem front rotors and pads (still got tons of meat), oem flywheel, and oem clutch, giving away for free as of Friday...for the EF. Heck, you can have the exhaust for free if you want as well. I gotta clear my space!

I'm getting everything new in there, hoping to track it later in the year. Stage 1, stage this and that.

I highly recommend you don't slice up the carpet like zorro because that's just asking for a new place for dirt to find it's way underneath and collect in the guts of your car... And then the big cleaning will be moot cause you'll have to do it all again in a couple months. Do it right, and you'll have one less thing on your mind

I am adamant in saying that it's best to do anything car related properly, otherwise you'll run into having to either do it all over again or service it prematurely. Perfection is the underlying goal

lol I think you guys got the wrong impression.. I wasn't going to 'literally' rip the carpet out.. I'm making a SMALL incision underneath the dash, behind where the cd player and ---- goes.. and pull it out from under the dash, and clean it.. place it back in and slide the carpet back under the center console and probably duct tape it together where I cut :P

That(in our opinion) is toooo much of a cut Makk. We know what you meant, and ANY cut is a bad cut

Ah, sorry for the misunderstanding. A small surgical incision underneath paneling is acceptable. But no tape will hold that ---- lol.

Anyway, let me know on if you need help with the car, I'll see if I'm free in the next couple weeks for a job like that
