Well, had to sell the Integra:( With the cash, I got the ------- government off my ass and was able to afford 2 newish cars. One for me and one for the wife. I ended up picking up a CLEAN EF hatch, and we also bought a 1992 Nissan NX2000 for my girl to drive. Although I got the shorter end of the stick, I'm happy with my desicion and my girl couldnt be happier with her new ride. I had to get something for the time being as a "beater" and found this good example of a clean EF.

Whats under the hood of the EF you ask? Well anyone coming to this weeks meet will find out;)

here she is....

Ahah thanks bro. I try :yeah:

Civics are even simpler 20 years back in history, it's awesome to work on. Ryan described it as nostalgic, and I agree. Great little car.

integra12 07-26-2010 08:16 PM

As clean as your Teg! Looks sick ryan.
Cant wait to see it in person.

AcuratePaul 07-26-2010 10:57 PM

Thanks bud, you can get EF's really cheap man. $2000 and under for a nice one. Very fun car, it acts just like a go-kart.

8500 RPM 07-27-2010 08:00 AM

Ryan, I have an EF as well now. Clean as mine? I have a 1991 with 145K. :)

I saw this car on Kijiji....looks clean.

I have a spare OEM axle-back for $20 if you want to go back to stock.

nizmo 07-27-2010 08:10 AM

Like last time for the Teg, This time I have the oem front rotors and pads (still got tons of meat), oem flywheel, and oem clutch, giving away for free as of Friday...for the EF. Heck, you can have the exhaust for free if you want as well. I gotta clear my space!

I'm getting everything new in there, hoping to track it later in the year. Stage 1, stage this and that.

nizmo 07-27-2010 10:47 AM

LOL! well im sure that stuff wouldnt fit on my new engine....im guessing that all OEM engine stuff?

BoSsMoN 07-27-2010 11:38 AM

Woah I wonder what is hiding in that engine bay. I want to know lol.

Don't mind cleaning up a car to look mint, I also like to do detailing... but just depends on what's in it for me

WRONG! Not the Del sol engine either.....:giggle:

Datenshi 07-28-2010 11:29 AM

lol, You both should drive down and help me ------ do it, I'll buy the case of beer. All the interiors already ripped out.. just gotta cut the carpet in the middle of the dash cause I ain't taking that off.. rip it out.. clean CLEAN CLEANN!!! and dye it up.

Neon_Dave 07-28-2010 02:40 PM

I highly recommend you don't slice up the carpet like zorro because that's just asking for a new place for dirt to find it's way underneath and collect in the guts of your car... And then the big cleaning will be moot cause you'll have to do it all again in a couple months. Do it right, and you'll have one less thing on your mind :yeah:

I am adamant in saying that it's best to do anything car related properly, otherwise you'll run into having to either do it all over again or service it prematurely. Perfection is the underlying goal :)

amen bro.....and thats why we get along soooo well:yeah:

Datenshi 07-28-2010 03:48 PM

lol I think you guys got the wrong impression.. I wasn't going to 'literally' rip the carpet out.. I'm making a SMALL incision underneath the dash, behind where the cd player and ---- goes.. and pull it out from under the dash, and clean it.. place it back in and slide the carpet back under the center console and probably duct tape it together where I cut :P

nizmo 07-28-2010 04:05 PM

That(in our opinion) is toooo much of a cut Makk. We know what you meant, and ANY cut is a bad cut

you said the magic words to me "ahh ---- this".

OK OK OK, Its a JDM B16A motor, 2nd gen SiR2 motor with 170hp. The motor came from a half cut civic with 36,000kms reading on the odometer. Burn NO oil, its still the goldish color and im due for a 6,000kms oil change. PULLS like a bastard for stock.

AcuratePaul 07-28-2010 04:17 PM

It is a nice ride reminds me alot of mine and makes me sad hearing that motor roar.

Neon_Dave 07-28-2010 04:43 PM

Ah, sorry for the misunderstanding. A small surgical incision underneath paneling is acceptable. But no tape will hold that ---- lol.

Anyway, let me know on if you need help with the car, I'll see if I'm free in the next couple weeks for a job like that

b16bvtec 08-02-2010 03:14 AM

Nice ride !
