New level 10 TQconverter, 200$. he makes them him self.

Anthony, tbh it makes no sense. And a 5spd will still be quicker on the track. Downshifting+braking just before a turn will slow you down quicker than just slamming on the brakes. So around a track you will be much slower plus the constant up/down shifting with auto you won't be able to hold high rpms on a turn. Also think about the traction issues at such horsepower and how would you deal with it in auto.
Don't get me wrong, being unique is nice but things like this is not exactly the area.
If you do end up building it, good luck with it.

LMAO. dude a manual car will beat an automatic car around a track any day even if it's a bit below the same horsepower and torque ratings, simply cuz of having more control over the car for downshifting etc like the other guy said. It just doesn't make sense to build a 400whp automatic integra dude especially when you already have the stuff to do a manual conversion. Instead of spending $1000-2000 on building the auto trans so it doesn't explode upon the gas pedal being pressed, you could redirect that money to more horsepower/torque/bigger brakes/LSD for your manual trans.

And where are some pics of this 300hp DC? Cuz I've been on this site for awhile and never seen or heard of it now I'm curious

You must be stupid to think a person can shift faster then a automatic, never happen. why do you think all the top drag racers use a automatic transmission for, because if shift at the same point and same speed every time, a person never will.

 

yes in the long run is better to auto such as the drag racers but for circuit you might want the 5spd to downshift and slow down faster..plus the money building a auto tranny you can go thourgh 2 tranny's and still have 1 left over...

i've been here since 2003, i was the captain of this ship from 05-09 and i've heard nothing about you having turbo DC. but i did ban you 3 times. you weren't on here very much at all, i made sure of that.

the only DC i know of is that silver one which is actually your sisters.


take another look at that bumper. it's not even a full bumper, its a half cover. you have to put that on your existing bumper, therefore you're not saving any weight. you're adding 5lbs of useless but expensive weight.

I respect your ideas for auto dude (hell I drove an auto teg with I/H/E blaablaa) but if you don't build your tranny and you turbo it, it'll last all of a few months dude, trust me. MY tranny (Second one btw, our autos are pretty much glass) lasted me two years, beating on it with my bolt ons, so I don't know man.
