It's still just as friendly, anyone that ask's a question doesn't get flamed. You can check the tech section for that. I answer almost every question posted unless the answer is already there. There also has been a lot of diys/how-to's done at meets and on the weekends. Just check the preimere section of all the people that have had work done by me, daveyo or took it upon themselves. GSRjames is a perfect example.


This board is actually friendly towards newbs, you forget that we both join at the sametime. Futhermore Erick, dc24me, strtlgl, braveheart, twosix, van3, reza yap'in etc are all new members here recently that don't have a problem. People on get flamed when the question is so stupid, that the person must not have any common sense.

There is no hard feelings, I'm just trying to state the obvious. There's alot of new members on the board. The older ones that were around when we joined don't post much at all anymore. All I'm saying is that your only opening your eyes to one side of the board.

I'm a university student, working at a part time job, paying $6000 a year for school and paid off my car myself, pay for everything myself, and work on small projects on my car on a budget. You have a full time job and blow ur money on useless mods, and pay other people to get ---- done for you. Then you go off and compare your car to mine, well guess what, commen sence tells you my car won't be loaded with mods upon mods will it? Did I mention it's a daily driver? Yeah...I don't take off my windshield wipers to be cool. What do you post in comparison to me? "My mechanic did a great job at tucking my wires in. I paid a lot to get it done." And I'M AN ATTENTION -----...right? Look at urself buddy, before you point fingers. It's always the first ***** to speak up that are at fault. Think about that before you even reply to this post because I already know what ur going to say.

see you just made yourself look like a dumb ----. i can contridict every single point you made. 1) you ended up finding all of the "proper" materials to seafoam your engine. right then and there shows that you don't know what the ---- your doing. you could have easily hydro locked a motor by adding too much of that ----. the PROPER way to seafoam a motor is to get a valve that attaches to a can that will allow a slow, constant flow of the product into the engine letting it work properly. 2) you say you diden't want to do it at home because you'll have your neighbours calling the cops on you for blowing carbon all around the place....hmmm...so i guess the better alternative is to go to a hangout, that cops are always watching, and cops always stop there for coffee; ask smoothie, cantex, buff4prez,dave YO how long 2 OPP cops sat there and waited for us to leave.

why don't you go figure out how may layers of polish it takes to polish a wheel? case and point, your so dumb that you can't grasp the concept after having a FULL DIY on polishing wheels, that all it takes is : sandpaper, water, rub, take different sand paper, water, rub, rub polish creme onto rim. done. but no, even you have to come up to me 3 ------- times to ask me how many layers it must take to polish your wheels. oh not to mension wondering if "chrome" spraypaint will match a polished wheel. but we know you won't try it because you said you were too "scared" to polish your wheels cause you'd "---- em up". honestly, how the ---- would you screw up polishing a wheel? you sir have no common sence. :finger: :*****:

*ninJa edIt for master of teh DIY* overtime carbon can form a seal for the piston rings in a motor aswell as the valves, so throw some more of that seafoam ---- into your car, to get rid of all the "bad carbon" and see how your car runs. better yet, see how long your valve seals will last.

I give polak182 props for speaking his mind, but honestly man, after being at 403 and dundas and hearing you say "how many layers of polish did you use" really told me, that you really didn't know what you doing. You can't layer polish, no matter how hard you try. It rubs off.

Which is completely fine, but why do you always try and prove that you know so much?

This isn't a personal attack, but like really...things that are read online and things that people experience in real life aren't so cut dry like black and white, but more shades of gray.

Lastly saying someone's polish because they act like a fool, is just the same as saying that driver must be chinese or that black man must of stole that car to be driving it. I don't see why all the polish people are getting all pissed off. Sure it's not a saying that you hear everyday, but think of all the asians in this scene that get generalized everyday.

1. I'm aware of hydro locking. I found all the proper materials, and it was a thin *** hose, allowing the product to pour slowly anyways. Besides, if you ever done it before, I'm sure youd know only a tiny portion goes in while the car is on. Not enough to cause hydro locking if the person knows what they're doing. Most of the crap goes in while the car is off, and not all of it goes into your intake mani. I've done it on plenty of cars, never had a problem before somehow :S This ----'s been around for a while now and my dad's been getting it fromt he states. Never had my valve seals go on the car's we've driven, even after putting on thousands of km's man.
2. Somehow the cops didn't have a problem with me. If you even knew my neighbour's, you'd do the same man. Cops are after idiots who race their cars, not people that have smoke coming out of exhausts. What would they give me a ticket for? Seriously?
