Default In car video from Expo IIV

Just got back from the ITR expo and clipped this segment from some of my in car footage. I'll be going through my pictures soon but I'm tired and need to get some sleep...

Hope you enjoy...

Thanks guys/gals!

I can't tell you how much fun VIR is! If the Expo happens to be back at VIR next year I expect a much larger Canadian crew.

Oak tree corner is a very famous corner and is part of the VIR apeal. The drive was 13 hours. That could have been cut down to 11 if the car wasn't on a trailer.

Here are some pictures from the trip… Not many because I spent most of the time either behind the wheel or helping students on the track.

Getting ready to leave on Saturday

First stop on the way to Fort Erie

Sunday morning just south of Pittsburgh

Matthew getting the car ready

Ready to start having fun

View from the hotel Monday morning

Someone to play with

Cooling off after first session on Monday… Dam I just drove VIR!!

More cooling…

Some views on the way home

And I thought I had left the Deep South when all of a sudden I see this

And finaly we got escorted to the boarder…

Awesome pics Doug.

Looks like Mike's smile is BIGGER than yours. Did you take the family down or was it just a "boys" trip??

Unfortunatly it was strickly a boys trip this year. hopefully next year we can bring the whole family.

It was just Matthew and I from the GTA (along with Mike, who drove the truck and helped out allot at the Expo). Carl (not the same Carl as last year) and his friend Vince came down from Montreal in their race prepped civic.
