anything is possible, but it'd probably be just as cheap to buy one from them. personally, i like the hytech headers with the anti-reversion chambers.

Sorry man, I've been insanely busy and just had my knee injected 3 times in the last 2 1/2 weeks.

I'll get the other turbo to you this week for sure.

Great work btw, looking forward to getting the car all done

i've seen it done once before, as well as once on a d-series, which was pretty ugly.

Bob

what size turbo's?

what engine management?

how much boost is gonna be run?

what kinda 1/4 mile times are you hoping for?

WeiRtech

any reason why they're not equal length?

why'd you choose pairing 1-4, 2-3 together instead of 1-3, 2-4?

2 T28s

Will be using a GReddy E-01 with e-manage for now, as well as 550cc RC injectors, Plx wideband, Thermal R&D 3", and a few other goodies.

Not sure to either of those questions, no expectations, just see what can be done when it's all done and running.

in order for them to be equal length the turbos would have to basically be stacked on top of each other... this takes up quite a bit of room which is at a premium when you have a full rad, p/s, a stock fcm and intentions of running a 3" dp.

the reason for the pairing is related to firing order... to help keep the exhaust pulses flowing together and not against each other.

i have confidence this setup will work well with the turbos that bob has chosen.

I know, i've seen ways to make them equal length, but it took a lot of man hours to do. It was a question thats all.

That's the exact reason why I asked you why you chose that pairing. I would tend to think that 1-3, 2-4 would work a lot for effiectly(sp) than the 1-4, 2-3 firing order. My reasoning behind this is because, I'm guessing that the two turbo's will be connected to the same downpipe and exhaust and with that pairing, I'm guessing your gonna get some reversion back up the tubes since, only one cylinder is powering each turbo for every cycle, taking away the spool time and potential power output. Maybe I'm missing something here, but even all the bigger N/A exhaust builders pair 1-3 and 2-4 together to keep the momentum up instead of against one another. This is harder to explain than I thought, I'm gonna try again in a bit to get my idea through.

I was mainly focusing on the size of the turbo hoping that it wasn't anything huge. Should be interesting, and you have all the proper tuning parts to make it work as well.

The only thing that worries me is the firing order.

The only suggestion I could make is grabbing a slim fan and turning it into a pusher style and mount it in front of the rad to gain the room you need for the turbo's and downpipe.

Already have 2 8 or 10" (can't remember the exact size) fans mounted on the front of the rad.

That was done back in the day the first go around with the car.

look here:

this had a great deal of influence in my choice of pairing. jeff has been boosting hondas for years and most good ideas are inspired/borrowed from someone else's idea.

Aaron: Grabbing the turbo tomorrow, also need to head to Dave's any day now.

You want to give me a shout I'm guessing Thursday or Friday night and we can head up to Dave's and mess with the fitting and stuff while I'm there?
