Kyle, how high was your rev limit?

samgagner, ls stock can take 250-270whp. If you wanna push into 300s and over, strongly recommended that you get some rods/rod bolts/low compression pistons/arp headstuds. Since you are there you can replace the water pump and timing belt.
Ofcourse you will need new seals. Could/should hone the block 0.5mm over and get pistons/rings of that size also. Now with low compression pistons like 8.5:1 and some H-beam rods you will be able to run 350-400whp safe. If not more.

That's some work done to the motor, it's nice to see that it wasn't slapped together. If you don't mind me asking, was there any work done to the rotating assembly? Did you ever consider running a block guard? When you were tuning, (I'm assuming that you did have it tuned right? lol) what was the A/F ratio @ WOT?

Nice touch w/ switching to a GSR oil pump, I forgot to put that in my previous post.

6-7g's can get you an almost bulletproof LS/Vtec with LSD tranny and installed.

mine cost 4 all said and done. that's with a free head, free block and i installed it myself. still gotta do the dyno tune though so that's another $600. i just have a street tune right now

I was running 12 PSi with a 14B turbo (about the same size of a T25) on a bone stock B18B for about 3 month, before i went to a vtec and boost. The LS blocks are best for boost, like a few have said already. They have thicker sleeves then the b20's.

Nice HP numbers, but look at the TQ numbers, around 150. HP means nothing with out TQ, and when building a engine, you build for TQ not HP.

I am intrigued about what you put in your motor. Since am I considering putting in LS internals into a GSR block. Would care to elaborate? I remember a little while back you said you put in a blockguard.

Mine used to run 12's aswell, and my hit was not done to look pretty.

Plus they are engines not motors.

oh sorrie engines

do u know the difference from a plumbing couplers and a silicone couplers for boost to connect your piping/hold your bov on. seems not from what i have seen or a good manifold not a 60 ebay special or how to properly tune your fuel ( NOT with a fmu its not the 90s) plz stop trying to weld more leaks than a high school kid with down syndrome its not a exhaust

only way it was done was fast and ghetto never did last like most of your motors oh sorrie engines keep and flaping your lips its funny.looks like i came back to a tcc forum
