Why would i be mad about it? I have a very pretty valve cover that didn't cost me $900us I somehow see jelousy because you keep bringing it back up,It's dead,Shutup about it

He's asking to tell USDM and JDM apart,Not just JDM engines which you provided to him.

And yes i do trust importers,The REPUTABLE ones like i stated very clearly again.I never said they ALL come completly stock BUT the chances of you getting a modded motor are very slim.So whoopty do.
You seem to think I have some sort of grudge against you, which I don't. I could care less about your valve cover, even if it was real.

The correct info about the usdm engine were already given, so there's no need for me to bring it up again if it's already correct. If you look above, I've only repeated info that's incorrect or didn't have the full info.

While I'm glad you have importers that you trust, the original poster may not and extra knowledge isn't gonna hurt him when he goes out shopping for a engine.

People will read this thread and think that all JDM itr's come with a 4-1 header, when in case that's not the fact. If your gonna give advice in the tech section that's one thing, but you gotta make sure the info is correct at all times. If you didn't know that yourself then that's different
Sorry, i should have put, in my experiences, i've never seen a jdm ITR come with a 4-2-1 exhaust manifold. I've only ever seen 4-1 from the cars i've personally worked on....my bad.
The only 4-2-1 b18c5 manifold's i've seen are on the canadian and USDM ITR's. And they are the crappy cast 2 peice design ones with the smaller diameter collector.

...this board is too funny. This thread almost sounds like a continuation of the thread in the F/S 'JDM GS-R'. I've had so many laughs today!! I love coming here!!!

I highly doubt anyone is jealous of your pac-mall knockoff Valve Cover. Get off your high horse kid.

Talk when you actually know wtf youre talking about before you go off and start mis-informing people. Youre doing a great job of that.

Mis-informed,Hmm maybe you should read before you post considering i havn't said anything to mis-inform him.

Don't know who's post you're reading but they sure as hell aren't any of mine.

You need to open you're eyes alittle more.

I didn't say anyone was jelous,But when the subject keeps being brought up over and over again their has to be a reason why,I thanked the man for pointing out what i did not see,I never once argued with him in that thread,Not once,As to why you guys are being ******** about it is beyond me,Oh wait thats how this board works,Forgot about that one,Scratch that reply.

Just to keep this thread more helpful to someone considering these two motors, What would a fair price be for a complete swap?

JDM ITR B18C: ?
USDM ITR B18C5: ?

JDM GSR B18C: ?
USDM GSR B18C1:?
