I saw a video clip from HT, and somebody was driving an ITR in a track and kept the heater on.. does it help car cool down or something?

I'm too lazy to explain why it works, but it does work.

Turning on your heater will "aid" in cooling down a overheating engine.

The Super RRRex had the heater core hardwired to be on all the time. At the track, I'd just turn the fans on. That's why you always saw it with the windows down.

Its just a band-aid....and a very small one at that.

If you car's too hot, invest in proper cooling upgrades.
