Turning on Heater helps ?

I saw a video clip from HT, and somebody was driving an ITR in a track and kept the heater on.. does it help car cool down or something?

ya it does, i have heard that if your car is over heating to turn on the heater for a bit to get rid of some of the heat, it may be a lot of bull, i havent tried it so i cant tell you if it wirks maybe T-bag can he is all knowing

I'm too lazy to explain why it works, but it does work.

Turning on your heater will "aid" in cooling down a overheating engine.

The Super RRRex had the heater core hardwired to be on all the time. At the track, I'd just turn the fans on. That's why you always saw it with the windows down. :)

Its just a band-aid....and a very small one at that.

If you car's too hot, invest in proper cooling upgrades.
