Thinking about sound deadening my car
I have doing a bit of research about sound deadening because I'd like to reduce the exhaust drone inside my car a little bit.
Anyways I found that most good sound deadening material is rubberized tar. So i went in to Home Depot and found something called Blue Skin which seems to be pretty similar, only its cheaper. I was wondering if anyone has tried doing something like this and if its worth it?
I was just going to do the trunk and where the spare tire is and see if it helped, as I dont really feel like doing the entire floor and taking out the seats and whatnot. I just want to reduce the sound of the exhaust a little because it gets on my nerves on the highway. (I have no resonators)

Your best bet would probably be to install some insulation under the carpet in your trunk and on the back of the rear seats. You have easy access to coat the inside of the trunk underneath the cardboard and very easy access with the carpet, that should be your starting point I think.
Simply having the insulation that comes from the factory on the back of the rear seats under the carpet (my other carpet didn't have that) made a noticeable difference in the sound level.

Alright thanks for the tip. I was looking today at the insulation that goes under carpets and it was 5 dollars for a square yard, so ill try that.
