Front yes, the rear I'm still testing it out. Hopefully shall know by this weekend. (Looks towards Bryan) Buy solid bars with no pivot points. Less flexing.

Will add details tomorrow.

i don't think brands really matter, they are all the same with different logos. Like trennell saids, make sure they are solid bars and no pivot points.

I personally have a generic front one, and i do notice a difference in the turns. Its a lot more tight and i feel i have more control of the chassis. My rear lower tie bar on the other hand, i haven't been able to feel a difference really.

You will notice less flex with the front upper. I did notice a bit of a difference with my OEM JDM Type-R rear strut bar, but that was just me and my suspension set-up. A lot depends on your spring and shock combination, for the most part - a stiffer spring will flex less.

As stated before, anything with pivot points are useless.

As far as the lower bars are concerned, I would only suggest the lower rear IF you have a thicker than stock rear sway bar. The tie will help prevent sub frame tear-out.

i think a tie and a brace of some sort is useful on a civic - if using an itr sway bar.

but on integras - i've searched high and low for an example of tearout using an itr sway with no luck, everybody says it's strong enough that it shouldn't/won't rip out.

From what I've seen, most Civics that experience the sub-frame tear-out with a SRK have been the 96-00s. I haven't seen it much on the 92-95 perhaps because it's the same sub frame as the 94-01 Integra (non-R).

I've seen sway bar tear out on tegs, and it's nasty, but only with ppl that didn't use a subframe reinforcement kit. The stiffer your springs, the less chassis flex you'll notice.

Get just the front for now.

First off - strut tower bars and sway bars are two different things. A strut bar ties the tops of the shock tower which in turn reduces chassis flex. Sway bars are essentially bar springs that are underneath the car that ties the lower control arms to the sub-frame. Sway bars reduce body roll while turning.

The design and composition of the strut bar determines its effectiveness. For example:

OEM Integra Type-R front

OEM Integra Type-R rear

As you can see, the bar is attached to solid end mounts, which are in turn attached to the strut towers.

The Tanabe strut tower

has pivot points in the bar. These pivot points allow the flex of the chassis to be transfered through, thus making them less effective than the solid bar like the Type-R.

The material of the bar itself determines its effectiveness, as stated before. The stiffer the bar, the stronger it is, and its effect on reducing chassis flex is greater. If a bar is flimsy and weak, then it won't do anything.

In order to get the most out of a strut bar, you should consider a solid bar. However, if you're putting them in just for the bling factor, then it doesn't matter what you get because you won't ever feel its effects.

I can't say "No" for sure. You would have to test fit it and see.

Yes, it's passwordjdm.com.

Since you have a second gen, I would recommend the Neuspeed 4-point front strut. This bar is suppost to be one of the better designs, as well.
