OOOH MY FREAKIN GOD!!
im having the worse luck with my cooling system...
somehow ive managed to go through 2 rad caps in the past 2 months...they broke apart and leaked
and now my upper rad hose has been worn out...i think from my air filter ...
is this is bad luck or coincidence or is this typical of a serious cooling system problem...
im pretty sure its not a flow issue cuz of a worn out water pump cuz the lower rad hose heats up..but im not too sure weather the previous owner has done the tune up or not...

im seriously hopin this is just bad luck cuz i cant take anymore of this...i have exams to worry about..not my car...

well, why would you install a intake that would constantly rub against your upper rad hose? you can blame your *** for that one, not your car. second, stop buying cheap *** rad caps. there should be no reason why your rad cap would crap out like that. as for the waterpump, that should have been changed with your timing belt at 100,000km.

It's a bigger problem.

What kinda of maintence have you done?

Thermostat?
Waterpump?
Hoses?
Rad?

The weakest link in the cooling system is the rad. Didn't you mention during the winter that you were having problems with heating?

iunno i think the previous owner used sum cheap ---- upper rad hose cuz the replacement i got doesnt come anywhere close to where my filter is...so that problem solved...
and im not sure if the maintainence was done on this teg...when i did my valve cover i took a look at the belt and it looked alot newer then how a 160k belt would look...like not brown or cracked...but who knows rite...

well iunno i made the BIGGEST mistake last year by gettin my teg fixed at my boys garage (obviously dun talk to this ****** anymore as a result)....
my front was distroyed last year so i had a new front clip put on and he priced out a new rad and t-stat and all that madness...im jus not too sure that it was all replaced or if it was all replaced new....
i kno the rad is changed cuz i had a larger rad before the hit...

but iunno if it was me that said i had a problem with heating...dont really remember if i did...all i kno is that in 15 mins or half way to work id be warm...

but ye so far...

Thermostat- replaced?
Waterpump- should have be done by previous owner...i have a new one waitin for 200k which isnt that far away...next year im estimatin..
Hoses- new upper rad hose...and im guessin stock lower
Rad- replaced...i hope with new...
