Any stone chip that has gone thru to the other side cannot be fixed. You also cannot fix a crack.
If it's the size of a nickel, I don't think it would be able to be replaced, but do it now before it ------s because it will once you need to defrost the windsheild.

Just replace it... It's like $200 and you get a crystal clear view
Even if you were to fill a chip or crack, it's not 100% guaranteed to be completely gone.
I had a spider crack on my 2000 Civic before and I didn't want to replace the OEM windshield on such a new car so I had it repaired... man, it annoyed the hell out of me because it reflected light in wierd ways. So when my windshield was clean and the sun hit it, I could see a couple of shadows reflecting onto my dashboard from the remainder of the crack left between the glass.
That really bugged the hell out of me.
I say just replace it and move on

i actually found out about a guy that does repairs for a living...its a private business but hes been doin it for yeears...i forgot all about him until my friend reminded me...he comes down to the shop i used to work at alot and repairs windshields...
he will also drive out to ur car and do the job right there!...of course u will have to pay him a bit extra but its worth the convience i think...
he also works from home at morningside...his rates are pretty fair too...$40 for the first chip and an extra $10 for every chip after that...he will also let u kno which chips really dont need to be fixed and which ones do...

i know a guy who does any sort of cracks on a windsheild . he will do it for free if you have full coverage with your insurance company. if you check with your insurance company they dont usually charge to repair windshields.
