Any stone chip that has gone thru to the other side cannot be fixed. You also cannot fix a crack.

If it's the size of a nickel, I don't think it would be able to be replaced, but do it now before it ------s because it will once you need to defrost the windsheild.

^^ nah doesnt go all the way thru...
cracks and large chips can be rapaired as long as they are less then a inch or 2...
but ye i should get on this chip before it ------s to the edge or im fuuucked...
------ HATE THE 401 LATELY!!...constuction zones piss me off sooo much but for sum reason this year ther are EVERYWHERE....

Just replace it... It's like $200 and you get a crystal clear view

Even if you were to fill a chip or crack, it's not 100% guaranteed to be completely gone.

I had a spider crack on my 2000 Civic before and I didn't want to replace the OEM windshield on such a new car so I had it repaired... man, it annoyed the hell out of me because it reflected light in wierd ways. So when my windshield was clean and the sun hit it, I could see a couple of shadows reflecting onto my dashboard from the remainder of the crack left between the glass.

That really bugged the hell out of me.

I say just replace it and move on

i actually found out about a guy that does repairs for a living...its a private business but hes been doin it for yeears...i forgot all about him until my friend reminded me...he comes down to the shop i used to work at alot and repairs windshields...

he will also drive out to ur car and do the job right there!...of course u will have to pay him a bit extra but its worth the convience i think...

he also works from home at morningside...his rates are pretty fair too...$40 for the first chip and an extra $10 for every chip after that...he will also let u kno which chips really dont need to be fixed and which ones do...

^^ hahah the way the roads are these days...ill spend $200 and have a clear view only to have it get hit by another rock on the way home...

i know a guy who does any sort of cracks on a windsheild . he will do it for free if you have full coverage with your insurance company. if you check with your insurance company they dont usually charge to repair windshields.

let me know if you guys want this dudes number.
