Does anyone know how to turn off the srs light in a 96 integra?

The proper way would be to get a scanner and figure out whats tripping it, and fix it as necessary. The clock springs on the Integras seem to cause problems as they age. Could be a number of things, but i would suggest getting it checked out instead of just turning it off. You shouldn't mess with airbags.

 

If you don't wanna get it checked out and get rid of the light. Pull the bulb out of your cluster.

i could be wrong but i thought you cant remove the srs light in our clusters

 

94-97 clusters they are easily removed, 1/3rd turn and pull
98-01 clusters are a pain. the abs and srs light are removeable, but you have to dissassembly half the cluster to get at them

But since you're OBD2 hook up a scanner and see what code its throwing. Airbags are your friends.

 

on a 96 you dont need a scaner to pull the code you need to jump the 2 pin connector and turn the key to on and count the blinks. and then google the number etc 1 long long and 2 short are code 1-2
