i hear a lot of good things about the yellows, im sure others have too.
a lot of autox'ers use the yellows and gc sleeve combo and swear by them.

Id go with the Koni's. The adjustable dampening would come in handy for your needs.

I would vote for the Koni Yellow...

adjustable dampening is a great factor,

pending on your application, I know that they are height adjustable,

so if the ITR 1 inch drop is not enough, you adjust the perches to gain a bit more of a drop...

Yellow's are a much better shock, in that they're rebuildable, and can be customized by Koni to fit your needs. You can have thme converted to double-adjustable, revalved, shortened.......

Lose the progressive springs though. They're for minivans

koni's are not 8 way.. since they don't click you basically can fine tune your rebound.

also don't forget lifetime warranty.

I had illuminas on my teg, the valving was never quite right. I had them on my MX6 and they rocked there, but the koni yellows are great!

I've heard a couple bad stories about the "warranty" of Koni. The product itself is tops but getting them warrantied is a bitch. This is the reason why JRP doesn't deal with Koni any longer.....or so they say.

i have a dc2 i got the illuminas in 2 days the fronts had blown when i got 1 replacement it blew a day later, and then the other ones top (where you insert an alley key to tighten the actual shock down) broke,,,,, so needless to say ive had ---- luck with these damn shocks SCREW THEM if i had a chance to get the yellows at same price i would do it no questions asked!
