Default Purchasing a 95 RS soon

Well, i got a good deal on a 95 RS 5spd with a full Type R conversion. All i need to do is paint the car. I plan on doing the Gs-r swap in the near future. What are some of the features that RS have and doesn't compared to the LS/gs/gs-r?? How will the it perform with the RS suspension and how much is the Gs-r suspension? Does the RS even have power ABS 4 disc break? how much am i looking just to get all the stuff in excluding the engine swap.

95 Rs has all wheel disc breaks no abs tho , supensions is okay the same as ls or gs , the gs has power everything (locks, cruise control, sun roof) alloy wheels, ---- that makes the car heavier ,except for the rims thats a plus

ah type R front bumper ....unless you are talking about the ITR emblem there is NO difference
Rear bumper - ditto
Fender... sorry
Hood - nope
mirror - def. no difference.
Skirt unless painted CW/PY then only a inch difference from the non-Type R's. (unless you are referring to the OEM optional skirt package)... the seller just BS you into buying his RS.

LOL. Dude you got scammed, everything you just named is the same for all Integras. You probably got a 95 RS converted to a 98+ RS or it could be just a regular RS with a 97 ITR lip. No such thing as a Type R conversion.

actually, the exterior all came from a yellow type R and its all on the car. Everything else is black. Im not getting scam, because i didn't even look at it yet nor made a down payment. But if everything turns out like what he says, im buying it.

Can't go wrong with a RS that has 170 000km on the motor, needs exhaust work for etest, new clutch, rad, all for 3gs

so basically you're buying a 95 RS with 98+ conversion. not R conversion.

in case you're not understanding, the 98 RS/LS/GS/GSR integra has the exact same body as the 98+ Type-R.

everything you mentioned is the same. hood, mirrors, front and rear bumpers, fenders.... the ITR came with front lip which almost all 98+ integra enthusiasts have regardless of type-r, type-w, type-x, y or z.

i don't know much about the integra, but i always thought the Type had a different body style from all. I guess the lip made a big different in appearance. The 94 -97 were just plain butt ugly. I never knew the 98+ had the same body, i thought they were a little different. THanks for clearing that up

Sr-v, too much on insurance. RS CHEAPER! Atleast the RS can be my daily driver all year long. Srv has a bodykit and im still driving her this winter. I plan on selling the car this summer and use the money for the gs-r swap.
I have some money saved up for the RS and maybe get a loan for the body work. I have a good job, no biggie.

I dunno if they are stolen and i don't care if they are. I never asked him where he got it.

I's stay away from that car dude,The damn owner doesn't even seem to know anything about it,Doesn't even seem like he's looked at it considering he said he doesn't know about the body,Just from what the previous owner told him.

I'd stay far far away from that thing.

if i were u i wouldn't bother with that car i'd rather pick up a 98+ gsr for around 9 - 11K
rather than getting a loan, finance a 98+ gsr
look at ur plus points
body can be rust free
low kms
98+ front end is already on it all u need is a type r lip

this way u'll save money that u'd be spending on the body shop and for the swap/motor.
unless......................
u wanna buy that and rice it out

well, i was considering buy that car so i can save money for now. He had told me that so many people had look at the car but turned it down. He has no clue why, maybe it's the same concern that i'am having with the fitting of the bumpers and fender.

I'm not trying to stress you out,Just trying to make sure you know where you're money is going.

That picture is old,He's telling you it looks the same as the pic.So it has to just be sitting their,No one in their rite mind would just leave it the way it is IF they were driving it.

If it's been sitting their all that time without being moved,Their going to be flat spots on the tires,Brake calipers MIGHT be seized from not being worked,If the engine hasn't been started and ran the rings are going to be dry from loss of oil aswell as other valvetrain parts and bearings,If it was been started but just sat their it's going to idle irraticly because of carbon biuldup.

If ppl are turning away from this car their has to be a reason why.Go check it out and see whats up with it,But just remember it's you're money don't just throw it away on something thats going to cost you more then expected.
