Default problem reinstalling cradel

I did a search but didn't find what I'm looking for....I changed the rod and crank bearings in a 93 civic dx 1.5l I'm not sure how the flat shims or bearings go back in,there are only 2 of them in the whole motor.I know that the side with the slots faces the crank but I don't know if they face up like a happy face smile or down I think they should be down. I can e-mail pic's to any one who can help! when the shims or bearings are up they seem to be to loose and when down the cradel won't fit well.Thank's for any help!

Default not crank bearings,shims

The bearings are a no brainer! It's the 2 ,only 2 shim like bearings, they fell out when taking the cradel down so I didn't see how they were in place! ...They ride against the side of the crank, not on the top and bottom like a regular bearing.

those are called thrust washers. They go on the side of cylinders 3 and 4 with the grooves facing out.

Cylinder 3&4 is closer to the distributor side just in case u didn't know...

start with checking the timing and then if that doesn't fix the problem, then check the TPS sensor.

Default could it be something else aswell?

Was just thinking, wouldn't the clutch be fully engauged even with out the clutch master working? Because the master makes the slave press the fork to release the clutch! If so what else would be the problem the pedal has no pressure and I can't make the car move fwd or back in any gear, the car makes some noise when you shift into gears with or with out the use of the clutch pedal.

is the clutch pedal stuck on the floor? Any fluid in the reservoir?

It sounds like your clutch master cylinder to me, try bleeding the clutch through the slave cylinder at the front of the transmission case and see if that helps

Yeah the pedal was soft so I blead the slave cyl the pedal felt better, but then the clutch stoped working? The pedal was stuck to the floor it's now working again with less pressure than before,so I am sure the master is toast. But why would the car not move in gear, the clutch should be on all the time untill you release it with the pedal! My Eagle Talon's clutch master went and the clutch was on all the time, the problem was getting it to release as there was very little pedal pressure!

I dunno why it wouldn't move it gear, unless you didn't pop the axel back in all the way. It a simple mistake, so take a look underneath. 1/4 of an inch makes all the difference.

Besides the fact if it wasn't in gear properly....
