Default Need Advice.. Tanny Fluid (Manual T)

Car 2000 Teg SE/LS
Owner since new
200+ K

I was thinking about to do a tranny flush recently when someone told me not to, just top it up... As a flush may dislodge stuff etc etc. That is pretty much the only thing I have never done maintenance-wise on my car (I know) It still to me works flawlessly... I'm an easy driver I don't beat on my car whatsoever... So the question is what to do now? Change/Flush/Top it up?

any insight?

Thx Rav

take the drain bolt out, drain the fluid out. buy 2 bottles of honda manual transmission fluid and fill her up through the filler hole. if you need diagrams lmk ill post it up.

go to local gm dealer.

i want " 2 bottles of syncromesh and a bottle of friction modified(for lsds) , please."

put the friction modifed in, then the last two bottles until the fluid pours out the fill bolt. Your tranny is now a changed man and shifts mad sick

I would recommend either of the two, they both work good.

Syncromesh is hit or miss. It works for some people, then it doesn't.
