Default Light weight glass? or alternative?

Hey guys, if all goes well, my cf hatch will be coming in on the 30th of June. As far as I know, I cant use you stock rear glass because it will snap the hatch. Was wonderin if anyone has any info, or knows where I can get some light weight glass... or if i actually need a lighter glass. Thanks alot my second family!

Why are you even doing this? Its going to scratch, haze and provide an easy way in for theives. This should not be done on a street car.

oh.. its not a street car, my DA is going to be seeing strictly track, maybe a little bit of street driving but barely, and garage stored.

I got the FAL for my 92 gsr, awsome quailty, fits real nice and its very strong, just be careful when installing, i didnt use any screws on mine tot scared of it cracking. I went to bmw and got a tube of their black silcone that they use to put their windows in and it held it in like weld.

Sweet I'm thinking of going carbon hatch as well but I heard that they leak like crazy because of the way that the glass lines up with the hatch? Nawaaz if you don't mind what CF hatch you getting (Im thinking going VIS) and how much was your quote for the FAL?

If you look around and are willing to wait its just over 300.

My glass does not leak what so ever, it wont leak as long as its installed right.
