ITR vs. GSR exhaust

ITR vs. GSR exhaust
Searched to no avail. I'm debating whether or not to swap my GSR axel back with an ITR axel back. Anybody done this before? Are they the same part or different? Can anyone confirm horsepower gains? Can anyone confirm a change in sound/volume? Would it be a direct bolt up (same flange design, hangers)?

Muffler gains here!
I've tried all types of mufflers and combinations there of in my never ending quest for horsepower gains. woot! I have found that with your particular combination you could expect 8.424673 hp gain as measured on my ***** dyno.

When instead we can act like Dumbass MopHO's becuase the new guys won't come and be our friends at the meets *tears* My question was simple. The answer would take a second of anyone's time. I thought YOU of all people would have seen it as a chance to stroke your online technical ego.

I don't understand all this immaturity, it was a simple basic question.
Here is the answer to your question on this link;
http://autopedia.com/Acura/97_TypeRexhaust.html
Basically,
downpipe is different, cat is the LS one(USDM anyway)....midpipe is shorter...
has two resonators....
muffler is diff
piping diameter is larger to provide the supposed 30% increase in flow.....
Fitment, should be the same.
Although i will add, i don't like seeing R parts in Civics, or other integras. This just creates a supply and demand market for thieves and is why i have to worry about m y car beign stolen.
Cheeers!

No one answered it because it was a stupid question.
Yes it does bolt-on, no it doesn't gain hp and yes the sound will be slightly different.
In reality there's no real reason for the change other than the fact that your gsr one's rusting out and your able to get a itr one for cheap.
Lastly you either straight up lied about searching or you suck at the internet.

Thanks to those who helped. I really just wanted someone who had experience with the swap. I'm not after horsepower gains, I just wanted something a little quieter than my vision exhaust for a long trip I'm taking. If you happen to pose questions in the future I'll be sure to help if I can.
FuzzyLS BRO - You've been knocked down a serious peg. Sorry I had to do it in front of your minions.
Smartass pHO - It appears some peolpe are on TI for things other than an virtual social life and don't mind sharing their knowledge You drive a miata right?

it will bolt up directly to the gsr b-pipe above the rear axle at the flange, speaking from experience. i've also connected my itr axleback to my greddy sp piping too. it also bolts right up. it's about 2.25" id as compared to the gsrs 1.95" . there's a slight bottleneck at the flange as well as some on the b-pipe, making it about 2" i think.

I smell a forum war... Shouldn't be much of a contest though. Every time GSR fudebwoi tries to throw punches he stops half way and heads straight for his oponents ball sack. Not to inflict pain though, just pleasure. Lots and lots of pleasure. Oh yeah, nice new wing you put on your car. Those 'give me your *****' stickers were a nice touch too.
