Default Integra making noise

I have a 2000 integra. I am hearing a screeching noise from the front on the left side. I believe it is the roater or somthing is stuck on the breakpad.

Also I hear a tick tick tick tick tick noise. I think that is my belt.

What are your opinions

The hearing noise from the left side could be your brakes being low on life or wheel bearing... also look on your brake master and check the condition of the fluid in the reservoir. Having low brake fluid is a sign of low brakes... And that ticking noise check each belt carefully might need replacing or here's what you can also do... Start your car, open the hood and grab a long screw driver(prefer flathead) and hold that steady into a place where you think its making noise, now put your ear and listen, then you will now exactly what is... Try putting it on the valve cover and listen...

My breaks are fine. I changed them a few months ago. I dont want to take a flathead and put it against the belt...i would rather take it into a shop. Thanks a lot for your reply. Now i know what might be the problem.

any more replys from other people???

the noise sounds like its coming from the gasket.

Whenever i turn off my car, it make a noise aswell. It sounds like its releasing pressure.

that noise on the rotor could be rust trapped behind the heat shield, see if you can get under and try and look for that.... the ticking are the vales staying open and they're not seated properly... you may need a valve adjustment, take it to a shop if you don't know how to do it yourself

How much would it cost me to get a valve adjust. Or how can I do it myself?
