Idling Problem

Hey How is it going guys, i bought a 91 LS and my engine light is on with curb idling between 1000-1500 any ideas as to what it could be ? I was thinking computer or does this mean that my engine is gonzoo ???

pull the carpet back on the passenger side floor board and turn the key to the "on" position to find out what code it throws at you
