Default hytech replica feedback plz

recently purchased a hytech replica 4-2-1 tri-y header , and wanted to know what you guys think about them and if you encountered problems with them after owning them for a while . I know they're difficult to put together , cuz the piping doesn't exactly line up.

I have no experience with this one, but why didn't you ask this before you bought it?!

It's a replica of a good header. But it's a replica so I can't imagine it's the best out there. You get what you pay for. But I have no knowledge about them either.

I've seen on a dyno with the same car on both runs , n the replica was putting out more than dc sports headers , I just dunno if ppl had any issues after using them for a while .

Tbh if it's made with the right materials it should be good and cause no problems. What else could you trade it in for?

Its a good header. A lot better than DC sport. DC sport is garbage.

I picked up one of that header last year to replace the DC header that I had squashed the year before. The DC header was just a waste of money..

My replica was a pain to put together, I managed to get 3 out of the 4 piles to line up and slide but but could not get the 4th I gave up after 15 min and wanted to drop kick the thing I got help from my brother and we got it in with no problems, so you might need some extra hands.

I installed the header and noticed that it slanted to the bottom when connecting to the exhaust, not sure if will will be able to tell from the picture, it would have been better if it was bent an inch up so it would be level with the exhaust, but after some work I did manage to bolt it up. If you are going to run no cat get ready for raspy and nasty sounding exhaust.
I ran no cat but with a WS cat back and it was nice, but I just gave the header to my brother to put on his Integra with some noname exhaust and it sounds horrible after he installed it.

Also the header does sit a bit lower then OEM, especially with that downward angel, who knows I might have just gotten a crappy one.

Attached are some pix..

The new Apexi WS2

The 2.5inch gasket will not fit..

Nice pics levi seems like they aren't made to spec really then since they don't fit perfectly.

93tegralsv if you plan on getting a full catback it's like anything else it's what you pay for is what you get. Exhaust can't me cheap cuz then they sound like a fart can. and won't fit all that well with the chassis of the car. One i was in need of an exhaust I went with the Skunk2 Mega power cat back...yes it was really pricey but it fits perfectly its stainless steal and it sounds really good. And took only an 1-2 hours to install.

I got an Apex'i WS2 catback meant for an EG hatch so it sits shorter, but with it sunken in more, it doesn't give cops a reason to follow up behind me.

Hytech rep headers are a good bolt on for the price and flow very nice, although the 4-2-1 seems to sit funny as opposed to 4-1.

Thanks.. it lasted for 3 months then a storm came and I sucked up water into my engine..
this is how it looks now..

But I got a new engine 2000 Type R but I was told that header will not fit, so I gave it to my brother. Over all it was a good header for the price.
