Help, tranny drain bolt

Default Help, tranny drain bolt

i need help taking off my tranny drain bolt, its just a rounded off bolt with a sqaure hole in the middle wat tool should i use?

3/8" ratchet is what is needed to remove it, think of the bolt like a socket

Don't forget, remove the FILL plug first! Don't drain if you can't refill!

u guys are talkin b.s [ the right way to do it] u need a 17mm wrench and remove the 17mm nut on the tranny case, that is the fill hole.the drain hole is below to ur right it does not drain until u over fill so u r going to vac if u want to drain. the 3/8 slot i would advice u to try it i did. AND FILL UNTIL IT STARTS COMIN OUT THEN CLOSE
