i need help taking off my tranny drain bolt, its just a rounded off bolt with a sqaure hole in the middle wat tool should i use?

 

Stick a ratchet in there

ratched with extension works pretty well.

 

3/8" ratchet is what is needed to remove it, think of the bolt like a socket

 

I doubt that.

3/8" or 1/2" for sure.

Don't forget, remove the FILL plug first! Don't drain if you can't refill!

oh, fo sho, i got myself 2 bottles of GM Synromash, and a dollar store tranny funnel , good 2 go

 

you need one more bottle

it's like 2 full bottles then half of the third one

is it ok to mix some normal gear oil in there? i cant afford another bottle

u guys are talkin b.s [ the right way to do it] u need a 17mm wrench and remove the 17mm nut on the tranny case, that is the fill hole.the drain hole is below to ur right it does not drain until u over fill so u r going to vac if u want to drain. the 3/8 slot i would advice u to try it i did. AND FILL UNTIL IT STARTS COMIN OUT THEN CLOSE
