Default HELP! Can you convert US (MPH) Gauge Cluster To Canadian (KM)?

Hello All,

I have a US Spec GSR with the gauge cluster in MPH and was wondering if I can just by a Canadian gauge cluster with KM's on it and simply swap them without changing any wiring? Will the odometer and all the gauges work properly? Has anyone done this swap before? Any info would be much appreciated!

I'm 85% sure a Canadian cluster bolts right in without any modification. I have a Canadian cluster in my US car, though the previous owner actually did the swap. You will be changing your mileage unless you find a cluster with identical mileage in KMs. Not sure how that effects things with insurance, safety, ownership etc.

Thanks for the replies guys ... so will the new Gauge cluster odometer work in KM's or Miles? And can you actually change the mileage on a cluster manually?
