Will a h22a fit pretty easily into and 2001 integra....planning to do it myself unless i need to do welding or cutting.

 

no welding cutting needed...motor mounts, and your good to go...heard rumours of losing ps, and ac...

 

imo you'd be better off doing a lsvtec.. assuming you have a b18b.

 

H22 type S ownez. go for it.

 

depending on what mount kit you go with you will either have to remove your passenger side mount (hasport)or trim your existing mount(bolt in kit). youd have to cut a hole in the firewall or floor for the shifter cables to run through and widen the shifter hole to fit the shifter box. You can avoid that by using a H2B kit.
good swap, but now a days you should just do a k swap if your considering doing the work for an H imo.

 

Hmm sounds like i might be alright then....i dont use my ac anyways and i guess i could live without power steering if i do in fact have to lose them. Also where can i find out more about an H2B kit? I was thinking about LS/Vtec but i would like to keep the reliability of a relatively stock engine. And I dont really know anything about K series and from what ive seen my pockets arent quite deep enough.

Well has anyone here done an LS/Vtec swap? If so could it be done for lesss than 3g's?

with some carefull shopping you can build one for under 3g's it all depends on what parts you put in. and if and how much machine work you need. mine might be about 3g's by the time i'm done

 

you can easily have it cost you $1600 or so, if you do most of the work yourself, without doing a extreme build
